There is nothing like live television. It connects us in a way that social media cannot. You sit at home with your family or friends watching a broadcast live, but it isn’t just you. There are millions of viewers experiencing the same live event, in real time. The cameras are rolling and anything is possible, and you can’t prepare for what is to come. There have been shocking moments in live television, from a streaker running during the Oscars to as shocking as Christine Chubbuck’s last broadcast. Moments that live in infamy. In Late Night with the Devil, late-night host Jack Delroy will make his mark in late-night infamy.

Late Night with the Devil sets up the film as a 1970s documentary. It gives you the backstory of late-night host, Jack Delroy (David Dastmalchain). His show Night Owls with Jack Delroy is in direct competition with the legendary Johnny Carson Tonight Show. At one point, Jack is on top of the world. He has steady ratings that seemingly getting better and better. However, when his wife, Madeleine dies of cancer, it has a great effect on the Night Owls production and forces Jack into hiding.
